Alteryx Appoints Mark Anderson, President Of Palo Alto Networks, To Its Board Of Directors

IRVINE, Calif.Alteryx, Inc. (NYSE: AYX), revolutionizing business through data science and analytics, today announced the appointment of Mark Anderson to its board of directors, effective Oct. 1, 2018. Anderson is president of Palo Alto Networks and a seasoned executive with a proven track record of building and scaling organizations for growth.

“We are excited to welcome Mark to the Alteryx Board of Directors,” said Dean Stoecker, CEO of Alteryx. “As we plan for our next phase of growth, Mark’s strong executive experience scaling companies will be a powerful resource for our company.”

As president of Palo Alto Networks, Anderson is responsible for sales, go-to-market and customer support. Prior to Palo Alto Networks, Anderson led sales activities at F5 Networks and was instrumental in scaling that organization. Prior to that, Mark held leadership positions at Lucent Technologies and Cisco Systems.

“I am thrilled to join the talented leaders on the Alteryx Board of Directors,” said Anderson. “Alteryx continues to demonstrate a strong growth trajectory—a direct result of the company’s success in disrupting the data science and analytics market. Mark holds a B.A. in business and economics from York University in Toronto.

The company also announced that Jai Das has resigned from the Alteryx Board of Directors, effective Oct. 1, 2018.  Jai was an instrumental advisor through the company’s transition from private placement funding to its initial public offering in March 2017. Alteryx and its board thank Jai for his years of service and valuable contributions.
