TerraGo Selected for Smart 50 Award

TerraGo was recognized with Ameresco for the Richmond Hill streetlight conversion project. Ameresco successfully designed, planned and installed over 10,000 smart street lights and deployed Itron’s Streetlight.Vision central management system. TerraGo’s cloud-based deployment system enabled work crews to commission network nodes and lights directly from their iPads, synchronizing these units with the Streetlight.Vision platform in the command center, reducing delays and eliminating errors.

“We’re honored that our Richmond Hill project was selected for the Smart 50 Award. This extensive retrofit project included converting nearly 13,000 lights to energy efficient LEDs and deploying a smart lighting control system,” said Bob McCullough, President, Ameresco Canada. “It provided significant benefits including smart lighting and a communications network and utilized a new TerraGo Streetlight deployment application. The application helped to reduce installation times and automate the commissioning process with the smart city software, Streetlight.Vision.”

TerraGo Streetlights is also being utilized by Ameresco in the City of Chicago, which is believed to be the largest city-led smart streetlight program in the United States.

TerraGo delivers out-of-the-box features designed, tested and operationally-proven for smart streetlight projects. TerraGo Streetlights seamlessly manages all the data you need to manage your project. From updating the inventory and plotting work locations, to providing a bird’s eye view of lights, poles, warehouses and work crews, TerraGo Streetlights helps you manage your smart streetlight project from start to finish and ongoing maintenance.
