MINNEAPOLIS – East View Geospatial (EVG) is pleased to announce its new reseller partnership with UrtheCast Corp. and its subsidiary, the Earth Observation company Deimos Imaging, a world-leading provider of satellite imagery.

With this new collaboration, EVG is now able to resell imagery collected from Deimos Imaging’s Deimos-1 and Deimos-2 satellites as well as task new imagery collection to meet client requests. Deimos-1 and Deimos-2 provide impressive imagery specifications (22m and 0.75m respectively) that satisfy a variety of applications. From large-scale disaster monitoring to precise elevation models, UrtheCast’s and Deimos Imaging’s portfolio of imagery represents a single-provider solution to wide-ranging market demands.

“We are excited to work with the UrtheCast and Deimos Imaging teams to offer Deimos-1 and Deimos-2 imagery,” said Jonathan Thompson, Director of Sales and Operations at EVG. “Deimos Imaging has proven to be a dependable and cost-effective imagery provider, and their impressive collection capacity along with the flexibility they offer will certainly add value to our customers’ projects.”

This agreement will enable customers to get an extraordinary level of insights, by complementing EVG’s technical innovation in analysis with the reliable monitoring capabilities of UrtheCast’s Earth Observation group, Deimos Imaging. In addition, it is expected to create a valuable benefit for several applications such as topographic mapping, digital elevation modeling and surveying.

“We are very glad to collaborate with EVG and to provide them high-quality data. We see that easy-to-use value-added products with geoanalytics capabilities are broadening the utility of the Earth Observation data,” said Jamie Ritchie, Business Development Director at UrtheCast and Deimos imaging. “By making available our imagery to EVG, we believe we can notably break through to the next level of content-rich cartographic products and big data analytics.”
