Ardent Management Consulting to Donate up to 100 hours of Free GIS-based, Professional Aerial Imagery in Support of Fire Recovery Operations in Northern California

RESTON, Va. – Ardent Management Consulting (ArdentMC) has announced today that they have launched a drone initiative to offer free aid in wildfire ravaged areas of Northern California. The two-week initiative will aid in damage assessment in Napa through the use of GIS technology.

ArdentMC is dedicated to helping assess damage and restoring areas of Northern California with the use of drones. This includes storm track visualizations, high water lines or flood depth, road closures and infrastructure reports, property damage from aerial analysis and other forms of post-event imagery. With the use of mobile GIS applications, recovery personnel are able to identify damage status and rapidly report information to a central location. ArdentMC uses remote sensing paired with advanced GIS technology to power development behind drone programing.

Brandon LaBonte, President and Chief Executive Officer of ArdentMC, said, “We have the aerial technology to capture imagery to help bring aid and restoration to the areas impacted by these wildfires. We are interested in developing our government capabilities for commercial use, and this free program will engage directly with impacted families and commercial operations, while also supporting an area that means a lot to us personally.”
