Teledyne Optech Showing Powerful and Productive Survey Instruments at INTERGEO 2017

Teledyne Optech is pleased to announce that it will be at INTERGEO 2017 in Berlin, Germany on September 26-28 in Stand C2.040, Hall 2.1, to exhibit the latest lidar surveying products and show how they let operators collect higher-quality 3D data and imagery faster than ever before.

The highly automated interface, powerful surveying features, and competitive price point of the Optech Polaris TLS terrestrial laser scanner created a frenzy at its unveiling last year, and visitors can now try out its functionality at the Optech booth. Optech staff will also discuss how the ultra-light Optech Maverick Mobile Mapping System can be mounted on a backpack to collect dense lidar and camera data virtually anywhere, and how the Optech Lynx HS-600’s high-speed scanner lets it out-perform other sensors at high vehicle velocities.

Visitors to the booth can also use our augmented reality sandbox, which helps demonstrate how the Optech Galaxy’s SwathTRAK™ technology vastly improves survey efficiency and consistency over high-relief terrain, saving operators both time and money. Several other Teledyne Optech airborne systems will also be at the booth, including the Optech Eclipse, which has lowered the barrier to entry into airborne lidar surveying with low-cost automated operation and an excellent price-to-performance ratio. Forestry and coastal data from the Optech Titan will also be available, with Teledyne Optech experts ready to explain how its revolutionary multispectral lidar technology enables topo/bathy surveys, land classification, and biomass estimation.

Groups interested in surveying deeper in turbid waters than any other airborne lidar can also drop by the booth to hear more about the new Optech CZMIL Nova, including its latest project, mapping the Great Pacific Garbage Patch with The Ocean Cleanup project. Even smaller organizations with limited budgets can now make use of CZMIL Nova thanks to redesigned hardware usable in aircraft as small as a Piper Navajo, plus rental opportunities through the CZMIL Project Program.

Finally, Teledyne Optech will also demonstrate the latest version of our Optech LMS Lidar Mapping Suite, which uses polynomial corrections to refine accuracy, performs land-water classification for the Titan, creates trajectories directly within the workflow, and delivers many ease-of-use improvements for airborne and mobile systems alike.
