Continental Mapping Announces Hiring of Pete Briere as General Manager – Civil Works

(Sun Prairie, WI) — Continental Mapping is pleased to bring Pete Briere into our senior management team as General Manager of our Civil Works Division.  Pete has 20 years of experience in the geospatial industry ranging across numerous markets and technologies.  Most recently he has served as General Manager at Premier Geospatial, where he expanded the business into Prime Federal Contracts and led the group through merger & acquisition activity.  Prior experience includes 9 years with 3001, Inc (now Northrop Grumman) as their Civil Works Department Manager where he served as Senior Program Manager for several federal A&E contracts, providing remote sensing, GIS and emergency response services.  Prior to joining 3001 he provided support to USGS research efforts in the Everglades and Gulf of Mexico.

As Civil Works General Manager at Continental Mapping, he will run all aspects of our federal survey and mapping services including business development, field acquisition and production.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of South Florida and a Master of Science Degree in Geography from Texas A&M University, and has held industry certifications including CP, CMS, PMP along with a Surveyor Photogrammetrist license in Virginia.
