SITECO Partners with FARO to Launch the New “Road-Scanner Compact” with FARO Laser Scanners

Bologna, Italy –  SITECO Infomatica SRL announces an extended partnership with  FARO® (NASDAQ: FARO), the producer of the revolutionary and most popular  Focus laser-scanner. This extended partnership will bring the  Road-Scanner Compact equipped with FARO Focus Laser Scanners worldwide.

The new light weight, compact and elegant system breaks through and stands out among all the systems of its class thanks to its affordability, competitiveness and price. It addresses to a broad market of users who need to capture existing infrastructure for applications such as asset management, hi-grade surveying, inspection, and so on.

Moreover, the flexibility to easily unmount the  Focus3DLaser Scanners and use them independently in static mode, sets this solution apart from the conventional mobile mapping systems and greatly improves the ROI for customers.

By joining their forces with SITECO,  FARO will be able to meet the increasing market demand for appropriate Mobile Mapping Systems.  FARO will advocate the  Road-Scanner “Compact” using their global sales network, while SITECO will remain the main point-of-contact for customers when it comes to sell the system, and take care of its maintenance and related warranties. This collaboration will help customers gain access to the trusted technology of SITECO through  FARO’s wide sales network.

“We, at SITECO, are very excited about this collaboration, as  FARO has the world-wide sales network which will help SITECO expand into geographical regions beyond our reach, providing the well-known  FARO brand an entrance into the exciting and growing mobile mapping market” says Augusto Burchi, CEO of SITECO.

The  Road-SIT software suite developed by SITECO, is available and provided with any of SITECO’s  Road-Scanner systems.
