If all goes as per plan, Chandigarh will soon replicate Mohali’s mechanised cleaning system based on geographic information system (GIS). It was decided at a meeting of the Tricity’s Mayor Council — comprising all the three mayors of Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali — on Tuesday. Finding the GIS-based system appealing, Mayor Arun Sood said that they would now have the same method of sanitation in the city.
