SuperGIS Server 3 Provides Convenient and Complete GIS Workflow

All of the maps, attribute data, and symbols edited in SuperGIS Desktop 3 can be saved as *.slr files and published as map services through SuperGIS Server 3. In that case, users can use SuperPad 3 and SuperGIS Desktop 3 to read the centralized map data, and synchronize map data with spatial data saved in SuperGIS Server 3 to make sure the accuracy and timeliness of the data.

For field surveyors, they can download the maps to SuperPad 3 and carry the mobile device to do the field survey directly. After the field task is finished, they can upload and update the spatial data in the office. Therefore, the field surveyors, who do not need to carry huge amounts of map data in field survey, can keep the spatial data correct through the mechanism of file version management in SuperGIS Server 3.

For the staff who work in the office, they can use SuperGIS Desktop and Web browsers (such as, Internet Explorer) to browse and edit the map and its attribute data. The mechanism of file version management in SuperGIS Server 3 can avoid overwriting the files as multiple users operate the online editing at the same time.

In addition, SuperGIS Server 3 provides sample codes of JavaScript, Flex and Silverlight API to help developers create the customized map websites with ease.
