New Gemcom Minex Geology and Mine Planning Software

Minex fully integrates all aspects of mining from exploration through rehabilitation, ensuring that resources are evaluated accurately and mined efficiently, improving productivity and profitability throughout the mining lifecycle. “To address the needs of the growing number of underground coal mines around the world, Minex 6.1 includes a new, innovative Underground Mine Design and Reserves module,” said Andre Broodryk, Gemcom’s product manager for Minex. “This module, which can be applied to any stratified deposit, enables mining engineers to quickly and easily create different mine design options and evaluate them accurately before committing resources to production.
