Exprodat Upgrades Exploration Software to ArcGIS Pro

Exprodat, the oil and gas ArcGIS platform specialist, Esri Gold Partner and Getech group company, has released ArcGIS Pro compatible versions of its industry-standard exploration software extensions Data Assistant and Exploration Analyst.

Data Assistant for ArcGIS Pro provides an invaluable utility for geoscientists and explorationists by delivering simple, fast transfer of crucial data between ArcGIS Pro and many common exploration and production interpretation systems.

Exploration Analyst for ArcGIS Pro enables petroleum geoscientists and explorationists to make better decisions by providing insight into the potential prospectivity of oil and gas basins and plays. The software does this through the implementation of industry best-practice play-based exploration (PBE) workflows within the ArcGIS Pro environment.

Exprodat Chief Operating Officer, Chris Jepps, explains why his company has decided to release ArcGIS Pro versions of their software now and what this will mean for existing and new users; “In the last 12 months we have seen a surge in interest for ArcGIS Pro across the petroleum industry, and we are proud to be at the forefront of partners releasing their ArcGIS extensions for this exciting new application.”

With our Data Assistant and Exploration Analyst versions for ArcGIS Pro we have been able to re-design, enhance and modernise our products, adding new functionality and tightening up on workflows, all the while ensuring the software continues to deliver the huge benefits that our customers realise from these products.”
