The Latest Version of SuperGIS Server Will Make Its Debut in Q4!

Supergeo is delighted to announce the new progress of SuperGIS Server! First of all, the 3D Analyst will soon be included in the update, which will allow you to switch between 2D map and 3D view effectively so that you can display, analyze, and manage your vector data or image data both in 2D and in 3D view! By using new SuperGIS Server, you can publish your 3D data and build your own 3D GIS map with ease!

What’s more, the ubiquitous spread of communication technology makes the market share of desktop computers gradually be replaced by smartphones and tablets. People now rely more on these light, handheld devices to catch up on new information! Following this trend, in the new version of SuperGIS Server, the interoperability among different platforms and devices becomes one of the most important parts of development. In the future, SuperGIS Server users will be able to view their 3D maps on different platforms and devices without further plugins or any prior work. Supporting the latest WebGL/OpenGL techniques, new SuperGIS Server makes it possible for users to operate GIS right after they get it from other devices.

In the future, the advancement of VR/AR technology will definitely extend the application scope of 3D maps. For administrators of underground utilities or above ground assets, using 3D data will also help them integrate their survey work with the latest technology. The brand-new version of SuperGIS Server 3D extension will be coming soon with full functionality! Please make sure you’ve subscribed Supergeo’s newsletter. Let’s stay together and look forward to the new release!
