The Locate16 Organising Committee are pleased to announce that the Call for Abstracts are now open for the Locate Conference. Locate16 will be held 12-14 April 2016 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The Locate Conference is in its 3rd year, uniting the industry and presenting innovative spatial technology to end-users across Australia and New Zealand. The event will host keynote speakers, four streams, social events, and an exhibition day that will be open to the public.

International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing is 105-year-old lady in 2015. The Society organizes congress once in four years. The Congresses offer not only a platform for presentation of the latest results of photogrammetry, remote sensing and spatial sciences, but also a platform for scientific and non-scientific meetings and discussions.
The scientific programme takes form of plenary sessions and parallel sessions. Parallel sessions are dedicated to presentation of reviewed papers. The papers are linked to sessions according to their topics to individual Working Groups.
Important part of participants form young scientists. They are welcome to attend not only the Congress, but I would like to encourage them to join Student Consortium and participate in the Youth Forum during the Congress. They are invited to participate in Summer school, which will be held in Telč from 7- 11 July 2016.
Reviewed and presented papers are publicized in Proceedings with CPCI (indexing of Proceedings by Thomson & Reuter) and SCOPUS. ISPRS Archives (Proceedings of Papers with reviewed Abstracts) are registered by CPCI and in SCOPUS as well. ISPRS Annals (proceedings with double blind reviewed papers) are expecting to be registered before the Congress.
The registration for the Congress will be opened on 12 July 2015.
A Congress App for all platforms will be launched in June 2015. The App will significantly enhance contacts between participants, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and organizers. The utilization of the App will enrich the experience of the Congress and will easily provide users with information otherwise difficult to obtain. The most active users can look forward to a prize-winning competition

Adjaye’s ingenious use of materials and his sculptural ability have established him as a leading architect with an artist’s sensibility and vision. His firm, Adjaye Associates, built their reputation with prestigious commissions around the world, including the Nobel Peace Centre in Oslo and the Moscow School of Management. Most recently, Adjaye gained recognition for his design of the Smithsonian Institute National Museum of African American History and Culture, which opened in fall 2016 at the National Mall in Washington, DC to praise and popularity. Adjaye Associates has offices in London, New York, and Accra, Ghana, with ongoing projects across the UK, US, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Adjaye has held academic posts at Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and was awarded the prestigious Panerai London Design Medal in 2016. Dwell on Design is honored to present Adjaye onstage Friday, June 23rd, accompanied by Christopher Hawthorne, the esteemed architecture critic for the Los Angeles Times.
