The EuroCOW 2016 will be held from February 10th to February 12th, 2016 on the EPFL campus, located in Lausanne, Switzerland (Reachable in 1h from Geneva International Airport by public transportation).
This biennial meeting intends to bring together the world experts, both from public and private sectors, to present and discuss the recent findings and developments on Sensor Calibration and Orientation. With the recent development of autonomous platforms, this traditional field of photogrammetry and geodesy integrates with robotics, computer vision and system control.
The organizers are setting the conditions for a practical, informative and informal three-day meeting in a relaxed atmosphere, and expect to attract real experts with hands-on experience in the field. The presented full papers will be published in ISPRS archives.
Live demonstrations on the latest development are expected from the main event sponsors, former EPFL-startups Pix4D and senseFly, now recognized leaders in their fields.

International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing is 105-year-old lady in 2015. The Society organizes congress once in four years. The Congresses offer not only a platform for presentation of the latest results of photogrammetry, remote sensing and spatial sciences, but also a platform for scientific and non-scientific meetings and discussions.
The scientific programme takes form of plenary sessions and parallel sessions. Parallel sessions are dedicated to presentation of reviewed papers. The papers are linked to sessions according to their topics to individual Working Groups.
Important part of participants form young scientists.
