Lockheed Martin Partners with European Industry for NATO Next Generation Modelling and Simulation Competition

Lockheed Martin is collaborating with European industry partners on a unique offering for the NATO Next Generation Modelling and Simulation competition.

With Lockheed Martin’s ACES – the Advanced Center for Experimentation and Simulation – as the foundation of its proposal, the partnership combines Lockheed Martin’s 30+ years of modelling and simulation experience with local and industry experts to deliver the right mix of capability, data sets and overall force readiness.

Meeting the Needs of NATO

·         ACES provides a unified, integrated ecosystem that connects existing and emerging simulation capabilities. It enables multinational training, exercise execution, operational planning, strategic analysis, and future capability development within a common environment.

·         By integrating diverse simulation tools and data sources, ACES enhances collaboration, interoperability, and decision-making across organizations and partner nations.

·         ACES supports applications across all operational domains — air, land, maritime, space and cyber — and across all major use cases, including Computer Assisted Exercises, Operational Planning, Operational Analysis, Strategic Studies and Computer Assisted Wargames. It enables training and analysis in live, virtual and constructive environments.

Executive Perspective
“Our partnership brings strength across industry and regional expertise to deliver the right modelling and simulation solution for NATO,” said Raashi Quattlebaum, vice president of land and maritime solutions at Lockheed Martin. “We are confident in the capabilities of ACES to strengthen interoperability and readiness across the Alliance.”

Looking Ahead
With the competition now in full swing, the Lockheed Martin-led collaboration will showcase a unified modelling and simulation capability set that is directly aligned with NATO’s top‑line priorities – delivering unmatched situational awareness and force readiness for today’s battlespace and for the next generation threats that will shape the future.
