Synspective Wins Ministry of Defense Prize for the Nippon Startup Award 2025

Synspective, a provider of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite data and analytics solutions, announced today that it has received the Ministry of Defense Prize for the Nippon Startup Award 2025.

This marks the first year the Ministry of Defense Prize has been included in the prestigious awards program. Synspective previously won the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) Prize in 2022, making this its second Nippon Startup Award.

The Nippon Startup Awards are a government-sponsored program that recognizes outstanding startups as role models for the next generation of entrepreneurs. The newly established Ministry of Defense Prize honors companies with significant potential to contribute to the defense sector and technological advancement. The award recognizes Synspective’s innovative SAR satellite technology and its applications in national security and disaster monitoring.
