Prevu3D to Host ConneXion 2024: First Event on Reality Capture-Based Engineering and Operational Workflows with Visual Digital Twins

November 14 Online and In Person

MONTREAL, Canada – Prevu3D, a 3D digital twin software solutions provider, is hosting ConneXion 2024, a conference exploring the use of reality capture to drive efficiency and innovation across engineering and operational workflows. Sessions will guide attendees through the entire workflow from the 3D scanning process and automated mesh creation to applications that optimize engineering processes, health and safety activities, manufacturing operations, and facility maintenance.

The November 14 event will be broadcast live online beginning at 11 am ET from the CENTECH in Montreal. Registration for online attendance is free and open to all engineering, manufacturing, geospatial, and other professionals involved in reality capture, laser scanning, 3D modeling, asset mapping, CAD/BIM development, and visualization and simulation.

“ConneXion 2024 will demonstrate how asset-heavy businesses can use reality capture across multiple mission-critical workflows,” said Michel Besner, Prevu3D COO and acting CEO. “Engineers and operational stakeholders must have a trusted single version of the truth, and the clearest path to understanding the as-built world is through reality capture and contextualized 3D visualization.”

Through the presentations and real-life case studies, ConneXion attendees will experience:

  • Insightful panel sessions exploring the digital twin landscape, from reality capture to visualization and 3D modeling in engineering projects.
  • Sessions on innovative applications of 3D modeling, covering engineering simulation, design, and automation in smart factories.
  • A showcase of Prevu3D’s tools and workflows aimed at empowering engineering teams, with live product demos.
  • Networking opportunities with industry experts and leaders, including BIM managers, consultants, and product managers.
  • In-person attendees will enjoy a closing cocktail session to network further.

Virtual attendees may register for the entire event or individual sessions listed below at this link:
