GeoPoint Surveying Opens Office in Melbourne, Florida

TAMPA, Fla. GeoPoint Surveying is proud to announce that it has opened an office in Melbourne, Florida to support ongoing construction and land development projects in the local area.

The Melbourne staff are currently engaged with several national residential builders to provide land development and construction support services on Florida’s Space Coast, including Brevard County, on long term projects that necessitated a permanent office location.

The largest land surveying company in Florida, GeoPoint Surveying has been growing its footprint in the southeast with strategic office locations positioned throughout Florida, Alabama and South Carolina. This land and expand approach has proven successful for the company that began as a start-up in 2009 after the housing market bubble burst and several well-established survey companies closed its doors creating opportunity for the newcomer.

“We look forward to being able to expand our standard-setting services in the Melbourne area of the state,” said David Williams, President of GeoPoint Surveying. “Our new office location there, as well as our exceptional Melbourne employees, give GeoPoint added geographic flexibility to support a growing list of land development projects in that region.”

Awarded the ‘Best Places to Work’ and ‘Fast 50’ top growing companies by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, as well as ‘Top Work Places’ by USA Today and the Tampa Bay Times, GeoPoint has developed a premier reputation in the Florida land development, construction and civil engineering industries because of its exceptionally high-performing staff, as well as its continuous innovation in forward-thinking technology and leading-edge equipment.

GeoPoint Surveying, Inc. provides standard-setting land survey services including subsurface utility location, remote sensing/LiDAR, construction support, land development services, hydrographic surveys, geographic information systems, and geographical visualization and interactive services for residential, commercial, energy, industrial, and various other public and private projects. GeoPoint is licensed in Florida, Texas, South Carolina, and Alabama, and currently has ten offices located in Tampa (2), Land O’ Lakes, Melbourne, Orlando, Freeport, Venice, West Palm Beach, Ridgeland, South Carolina, and Dothan, Alabama.
