Trimble Announces Three New Products

  1.  Trimble SiteVision Software 5.0 is the latest version of the company’s high accuracy outdoor augmented reality system, now with a new 3D scan tool. The 3D scan app allows customers to use LiDAR sensors available on some Apple Pro devices to capture high-accuracy and instantaneously georeferenced point clouds with a workflow as easy as taking a picture. Combining the power of scanning and precision in a mobile solution, SiteVision 5.0 enables users to create as-builts of the job site on the go, measure and plan resource allocation, reduce scan times, supplement drone data and model preconstruction conditions with precision and ease. These scanning tools further SiteVision’s functionality for creating practical and accessible field-to-office workflows for surveyors, contractors and engineers. SiteVision 5.0 is available worldwide through the SITECH distribution channel. Click here for more information.

  1. The Trimble TDC6 Handheld Data Collectoris a low cost, lightweight, handheld GNSS data collector for high performance construction surveying. The new, easy-to-use TDC6 allows contractors to work with more complex data sets more effectively in the field, connect to the office for on-the-spot approvals, and communicate changes to field crews quickly and easily. The small, rugged device offers integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, built-in cameras, and 5G compatibility in a lightweight, shock, dust and water resistant package. The versatile data collector works seamlessly with Trimble Siteworks Software for construction surveying and can be used to visualize the job site with Trimble SiteVision Software, an augmented reality solution designed to improve a variety of construction workflows. The TDC6 is available through the SITECH distribution channel. Click here for more information.

  1. The Trimble TDL450B Radiois a next generation 450 megahertz external radio with Bluetooth for transmitting, receiving and repeating GNSS corrections. It provides flexible configuration options and rugged reliability for the efficient use of GNSS on the construction site. Designed to support Trimble and third-party RTK base stations, this sophisticated radio modem puts Trimble’s newest data link technology in the hands of users on the job site. The TDL450B radio is an advanced, high speed, wireless UGH data radio built to endure the stresses of daily use in harsh conditions and includes an add-on fan tray for additional impact and weather resistance. A user-friendly interface makes it easy to set up and configure, and access to diagnostic data in the field makes it easy to solve signal strength challenges and make adjustments when needed to avoid down time. The TDL450B radio is available in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand through the SITECH distribution channel. Click here for more information.
