Share your knowledge and expertise at GEO Business – call for speakers now open!

The team behind GEO Business, the event for everyone involved in the gathering, storing, processing and application of geospatial information, are now accepting speaker applications ahead of the 2023 show.

The free-to-attend event, hosted at ExCeL London on 17-18 May 2023, brings the geospatial community together all under one roof.  Each year around 3,000 experts from across the profession attend to share ideas, source new technologies, discover new ways of working and grow their networks.

Why apply to speak?

GEO Business offers speakers the chance to raise their profile, share their knowledge and place themselves in front of a ready-to-learn and engaged audience looking to shape the future of the geospatial profession.

The show features an impressive speaker programme made up of over 80 sessions across the two days. The line-up includes some of the brightest minds in geospatial, who share their knowledge and expertise to inspire others and demonstrate the power of location. And now you have an opportunity to join them.

Selected speakers will be promoted on the GEO Business programme, both online ahead of the event and in print at the show, and gain exposure to thousands of geospatial professionals.

Who should apply?

Whether you’re working at the cutting-edge of geospatial innovation and have knowledge to share, or are just starting out in the field and can help others in the same position, there’s a place for you in the programme.

Talks cover a range of key topics for geospatial, including LiDAR, laser scanning, reality capture, SLAM/mobile mapping, AEC workflows, digital twins, point clouds, AI and machine learning, automation, UAV/UAS and much more.

If you have a unique application for geospatial technology, insights into developing digital workflows or cutting-edge ways of managing geospatial data then the GEO Business team want to hear from you. They are especially interested to hear more about the outcomes you’re delivering, as well as how geospatial is helping to solve some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

Event Director, Ollie Hughes says: “Speaking at the show is open to anyone and everyone within the geospatial community. It not only poses a fantastic opportunity to share your expertise but also helps to drive the profession forward.

We’re looking for case studies, research projects, debates, workshops, live demos, how-to guides, examples of best practice, new technologies and new ideas. Multiple entries are allowed, so don’t be afraid to get creative with your submissions.

“If you’ve spoken before we will of course welcome you back with open arms, but please encourage your colleagues and peers to take up the mantle too. Similarly, we want to give a platform to new voices in the industry and grow the community. So, if you’re new to presenting then that’s all the more reason we’d like to hear from you!”

The deadline for applications is Friday 17 February 2023 and they must be made through the application form on the website here: www.geobusinessshow.com/call-for-speakers
