EdgeWise Plant 3.0 Released

The new software is 64-bit, multi-threaded so it processes files much faster and we’ve added a number of quick finishing tools to automatically connect pipe runs and complete the model in record time.  Another major improvement is the ability to extract intelligence from the point cloud—OD, pipe length, etc—and display it in an editable worksheet.  The intelligent model can be exported in layers to AutoCAD, MicroStation or Cyclone.  One of our beta customers, Michael Raphael, CEO of 3D modeling firm Direct Dimensions, said, “EdgeWise 3.0 will change the way firms model pipes…what ClearEdge has done is truly remarkable.”  Now, I don’t know that we’ll change the way firms model pipes, but we’ll certainly model them a whole lot faster and more accurately!
