CHARLOTTE, N.C. –Satellogic, a leader in sub-meter resolution satellite imagery collection, today announced new key hires, bolstering company leadership and expertise in the Earth Observation space. These senior leaders, united by the vision and inspired by the technology behind it, bring unique expertise to solidify Satellogic’s best in class team.

Ryan Driver joins Satellogic as VP of Corporate Development. Most recently, Ryan developed strategies and executed on a wide range of initiatives for satellite company, Maxar Technologies. Previously, Ryan was a CPA at KPMG in its M&A/financial due-diligence and audit practices. At Satellogic, Ryan will promote growth through M&A, partnerships, and other organic opportunities, and serve as a Satellogic ambassador within the industry.

Julia Dormaar, VP of People at Satellogic, joins with strong international experience across the entire Human Resources spectrum from both established multinational corporations to highly dynamic start-ups. Julia will work to scale up the organization, streamline HR operations and further build out leadership capabilities to fulfill Satellogic’s goals, with a focus preserving core cultural differentiators around pushing the limits, taking ownership and continuous learning, that have defined Satellogic’s diverse, determined and ambitious team. Julia previously spent time at Tesla, where she led the EMEA HR team through the Model 3 ramp-up and European market expansion, and Artemis GmbH, a start-up under the Audi brand, focused on the development of premium autonomous electric vehicles, where she and her team built-out the core recruiting and people management foundation.

Dustin Kapsa comes to Satellogic as VP of Accounting and Financial Reporting. Dustin is a CPA and has over 15 years of experience with filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and technical accounting. He most recently served as the Director of Global Accounting Advisory, Global Financial Reporting and Global Consolidations at CDW Corporation in Chicago, IL, during which time he was responsible for its filings with the SEC and the accounting policies for the organization. At Satellogic, Dustin will develop compliance and reporting processes to scale with Satellogic’s growth plans as a public company, and will co-lead a project to enhance its existing internal controls around financial reporting.

Brian Lantier joins Satellogic as EVP of Global Sales, and will lead global revenue growth efforts as Satellogic delivers its go-to-market execution and attains a recognized market leadership position. He brings 23 years of global IT service provider new logo sales and existing client growth leadership experience from such companies as EDS, Computer Science Corporation (DXC), Hewlett Packard, and recently from Unisys, where he led both the Latin America and Europe sales organizations. In addition to revenue growth, Brian will help develop Satellogic’s sales culture, sales enablement and process, sales operations, and client account management.
