DENVER, CO – CompassCom is pleased to announce the release of version 7.9 of CompassTrac® fleet and asset tracking and management solution.

The features within this new release bring more detailed spreader controller information and provide further insight through enhanced dashboard and reporting functions.

More specifically the features include:

  • Integration of Force America, Bosh Rex Roth, and Certified Power Solutions Spreader Controllers for granular, pre-wet and liquid materials – total and application rate for all material types.
  • Snow fighting dashboard consolidates a series of key performance indicators that put key information in the hands of snow fighting personnel.
  • Snow Materials Report that delivers historical reporting of Granular, Pre-Wet and Direct liquid material application rates and totals, including Air and Road temperature (where available).

In conjunction with the release of this new version, is the launch of “Vortex”, a new pricing program aimed at simplify the purchasing process.  The program packages together all the necessary components – hardware, software, connectors, and installation, into a bundled solution for the customer.  The program is available in Standard, Lite and Pro levels to accommodate the varying customer needs.

“In preparation for this year’s snow season, we’re excited to be delivering additional functionality to provide increased value to our customers.” says Mike Gyde, Chief Revenue Officer.  “Not only do we want to enhance our customer’s experience by providing a rich feature set for winter operations, but we also wanted to make the procurement of our solutions easier and hence, our new Vortex pricing program.”
