ez911® Announces Craig Dollar as President and CEO

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- ez911, a leader in easy-to-use, innovative public safety products for small-to-medium sized PSAPs and dispatch centers, today announced that Craig Dollar has been named as President and Chief Executive Officer. Greg Crawford, co-founder and former president will continue to lead the company’s business development activities.

With over 35 years of combined entrepreneurial experience in the telecommunications and public safety industries, Mr. Dollar possesses in-depth experience in all facets of public safety technology. Mr. Dollar founded Emergency CallWorks in 2006 and in 2015 Motorola Solutions acquired the company. He was a co-founder of Geo911, a leading provider of GIS based CAD and RMS software acquired by IPC in 2006. He also served as vice president at PlantCML and before that vice president at Tel Control, Inc. (TCI).

“This is the perfect time for Craig Dollar to become ez911’s Chief Executive Officer. We’ve selected a very strong industry leader at a time when ez911 is poised for growth,” said Tim Clothier, vice president of engineering at ez911. “Today’s Public Safety pace of change is exponential. Every city and county is transitioning to IP technologies in some material way. Craig’s role in the digital and cloud transformation has never been more important and he likes to disrupt the status quo, which our small to mid-sized PSAPs need desperately. Our next CEO needs to thrive in this changing environment and be capable of accelerating what works well and position us for the next phase.”

“I am very excited to be joining the ez911 team,” said Craig Dollar, president and CEO. “ez911 has a close relationship with its customers and I look forward to driving new opportunity with the family they have created.”

Greg Crawford, former president of ez911 said, “Craig is unique in his ability to translate vision and strategy into execution, bringing together teams to drive results. He is well versed in the Public Safety Ecosystem and knows every segment, technology area, and geography, and will move the company forward with the agility required to capitalize on the opportunities in front of us. I expect he will provide the culture and an incredible ability to inspire, energize, and connect with employees, partners, customers and industry leaders. Craig’s vision, strategy and execution track record is exactly what ez911 needs as we enter our next chapter, which I am confident will be even more exciting than our last.”
