Yandex Chooses NAVTEQ Data To Support Online Location Services

NAVTEQ has been selected to supply map data to Yandex, Russia’s premier internet company. The current agreement gives Yandex access to NAVTEQ global map data for use on any Yandex domains around the world with highly detailed NAVTEQ Map data available to Yandex from Europe to Eurasia, North America to Australia and Asia.  For example, last September the company launched a web portal in Turkey and in October began offering Turkish map services powered by NAVTEQ data.
