TIA Announces New Upgrades to QuEST Forum’s Online Sustainability Assessor Tool

Arlington, VA (April 29, 2020) –– The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the leading association representing the manufacturers and suppliers of high-tech communications networks, today announced a series of upgrades and updates to its online Sustainability Assessor. The Sustainability Assessor was developed by TIA’s QuEST Forum for companies looking to rapidly self-assess and benchmark their sustainability and corporate social responsibility programs against industry best practices. The upgrades to the tool include improved scoring algorithms, new user functionalities, and a brand refresh.

“We take great pride in helping businesses become more sustainable and our Sustainability Assessor is an easy and low-cost tool that businesses of all sizes are using to measure and demonstrate the positive results of more sustainable business practices,” said Ken Koffman, vice president, and CTO at TIA. “The upgrades to the Assessor tool will enable improved user experience and provide more timely, actionable data for businesses to optimize their sustainability programs.”

The Sustainability Assessor tool gives an organization a rating of how they perform in ten different categories of sustainability. The tool incorporates standards and maps them to a scale of financial impact each can have on the business. It provides immediate, customized recommendations for improvement and streamlines the entire measurement process into one quick and comprehensive assessment. Businesses can also elect to submit their results for a Sustainability Award from TIA.
