SOLV3D Announces a New Tool Set for the SOLV3D Encompass™ (Encompass) Application

CALGARY, AB – SOLV3D, a leading provider of 3D processing, geospatial data visualization and collaboration solutions, is pleased to announce a new tool set for the SOLV3D encompass™ (Encompass) application.

This week while exhibiting at the URISA GIS-Pro Conference, SOLV3D will officially launch the release of the new Data Export feature for Encompass.  “Customers have been requesting a way to export the point cloud and imagery data out of Encompass and we have delivered. This new function provides a means to download select areas of project data in industry standard formats while allowing for transformations of the data to meet customer needs.” states Kevin Miller, Chief Technology Officer of SOLV3D. “Many of the industry leading design software products have difficulty dealing with 100’s of millions of points at one time. This feature allows users to clip out only the area they need at any given time and provides the ability for several team members to work on the same dataset simultaneously without causing server or connection errors.”

Other feature changes include the URL for Sitevisit360, which has become solv3d.encompass.com.
