Dubai’s Executive Council has approved a 2020 master plan for the emirate, which will demarcate usage of land in the emirate, Emirates 24-7 has reported. “We have to know what we are going to do and what is our requirement for these lands and how we need to develop it,” Hussain Nasser Lootah, director general of Dubai municipality was quoted as saying. “This master plan has taken all the aspects – residential, industrial, commercial, schools, hospital and even infrastructure – into consideration,” he said.
