New Leica xRTK and SmartRTK Provide Peak RTK Performance

Leica xRTK delivers a phase fixed RTK solution with slightly lower accuracy in conditions where highest accuracy RTK cannot work anymore. Using a unique set of algorithms Leica xRTK works in combination with Leica SmartRTK to automatically deliver the best possible position type. Leica xRTK delivers a position solution that is ideal for seismic, forestry and high-accuracy mapping applications.

Completely re-designed Leica SmartRTK delivers 20% to 50% more fixed ambiguities in difficult
environments compared to conventional RTK while still ensuring outstanding reliability. Fully automated handling of GLONASS biases in all RTK networks ensures that the maximum number of satellites are used. Together with Leica SmartCheck, Leica xRTK and Leica SmartRTK deliver peak RTK performance for users of Leica Viva GNSS.

Availability
The Leica xRTK and the new version of SmartRTK will be available in November 2011 as part of the
Leica SmartWox Viva 4.0 release.
