CHC Navigation introduces the APACHE 3 portable USV Solution.

Shanghai, China  – CHC Navigation announced today the immediate availability of its new APACHE 3, a lightweight portable unmanned surface vessel.

“Featuring triple-hulled and shallow draught design, the APACHE 3 is a portable autonomous USV for bathymetric surveys of lakes, inland rivers and coastal areas.”, said Yann Yan, Product Manager of USV Solutions. “Its compact size and light weight (1-meter length and 7kg mass without instrument) allows one person to operate the system easily.”

The APACHE 3 USV solution embeds the CHCNAV’s absolute straight-line technology which enables fully-automated course in autonomous mode in all current and flow conditions. The survey projects can be completed in manual or automatic cruise modes with the maximum speeds of 6m/s and 3m/s respectively.

Multi-directional data transfer options from shore to the APACHE 3 are available including TCP protocols with high bandwidth multi-channel transmission. The APACHE 3 can be fitted with various instruments such as single beam echo-sounder, GNSS RTK receiver and other sensors to match diverse application requirements.

CHCNAV’s APACHE 3 unmanned surface vessel brings portable and highly integrated solution to marine survey professionals to complete hydrographic mapping or bathymetric survey projects efficiently.
