The new leading space launch facility of Russia – the Vostochny Cosmodrome – launched its first successful semi-commercial flight on Thursday at 11:07am local time. The flight was on board of a Soyuz 2.1A rocket. Inspire of strong winds and frigid temperatures, the flight took off beautifully.
