Optical Alchemy Announces Their Geo-Referenced MWIR

Optical Alchemy, in a joint effort with their investment partner Teledyne Scientific & Imaging, LLC, recently demonstrated successful operation of their MWIR and HD/EO, geo-referenced, 6.4″ stabilized turret. The MWIR camera significantly improves functionality with an industry leading 8x continuous zoom lens allowing for easier and more accurate target detection and identification. Our HD/EO video camera provides an expansive wide field of view and provides our warfighters with an outstanding one-two punch in a single gimbal package. Warfighters can use our MWIR to find disturbed earth and IED’s, and then use the mensurated coordinates generated by our gimbals to communicate their positions to command centers. Read More
