Cyient to Launch Geospatial Data Exploitation Solutions at Intergeo 2018

HYDERABAD, India and LONDON – Cyient, a global provider of engineering, manufacturing, geospatial, networks, digital, and operations management solutions to global industry leaders, will be exhibiting at the upcoming Intergeo 2018 — a leading global conference for geodesy, geoinformation, and land management. The company will showcase its latest geospatial capabilities around road health monitoring, crop monitoring, and smarter parking maps at the event.

With more than 27 years of industry experience, Cyient leverages extensive capabilities to provide end-to-end solutions across the GIS data life-cycle, ranging from data capture to data management and exploitation, which enhance decision-making, increased cost savings, and enhanced productivity. Cyient’s leadership in the geospatial data acquisition market comes from its aerial survey, mobile LiDAR, and image capture and processing capabilities combined with data quality and aggregation. The company is now extending its solutions portfolio in the following areas:

  • Road health monitoring and analytics: This comprehensive range of solutions leverage advanced data capture techniques and machine learning capabilities for better visibility and management of road conditions and quality and other infrastructure assets used by the transportation and navigation industry. This helps local governments and agencies proactively monitor and manage road surfaces, and minimize congestion, pollution hotspots, and unsafe driving zones. The solutions deliver cost-savings and increased efficiency along with improved decision-making abilities. The solutions can be used across multiple industries including utilities, rail transportation, mining, infrastructure, and smart cities.
  • Crop and agriculture assessment: This solution leverages Cyient’s digitization and remote sensing capabilities combined with satellite imagery to help the agriculture industry monitor crops, identify crop composition and health, and improve yield.
  • Smarter parking maps: This solution integrates Cyient’s LiDAR capabilities with smart parking solutions to optimize the way parking and mapping data is accessed to enhance parking activities, both on-street and off-street, in multi-story car parks, capturing every bay, obstacle, and asset.

John Renard, President, Utilities and Geospatial, Cyient, said, “We are continuously investing in the development of new solutions that help transform the way our clients operate. We have been passionate advocates of the use of geographic information across multiple countries and industries, combining engineering design with geospatial solution development which allows us to help our clients enhance productivity, increase cost-savings and make more informed decisions.”

Mark Ewen, VP of Global Strategy, Utilities and Geospatial at Cyient, commented, “Innovation is at the forefront of what we do. Our solutions provide a competitive advantage for our clients, along with operational efficiency improvements. We are proud of our longstanding client engagements and providing solutions that are tailored to our clients’ needs and challenges, and in the process evolving with them.”

These newly developed geospatial solutions will be unveiled at Intergeo 2018. To schedule a meeting with Cyient’s team at our stand (number 12.0E.074) and discuss how these could contribute to your business, please visit our website or email [email protected].
