NASHVILLE, Tenn. – GEO Jobe (www.geo-jobe.com), a leading GIS software and geospatial solutions provider and developers of Admin Tools (Top application in the ArcGIS MarketPlace) Mapfolio, and the GEOpowered Cloud Managed Services for ArcGIS, is pleased to welcome Christine Munisteri to the team in the role of Jr Solution Engineer. Based in our Nashville, Tennessee HQ, Christine will contribute to our existing team of engineers and architects to assist in configuring, managing and implementing enterprise-grade Web GIS systems. She will also provide support to our enterprise GIS managed services environment (GEOPowered Cloud) used by over 100 clients around the world. This will also include managing configurations of ArcGIS Online/Portal for ArcGIS and their various COTS client applications (Collector for ArcGIS, Explorer for ArcGIS, Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS, Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS).

Christine graduated from Skidmore College in 2016 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies. Following graduation, she spent two summers in Belize working as the Senior Research Coordinator for the University of Central Florida’s Citizen Science GIS Research Experience for Undergraduates, where students mapped marine debris and studied flooding and disaster management in the coastal village of Hopkins. She is also a founding member of Open Reef, which is a Citizen Science GIS initiative to drone map every island in Belize and provide high resolution, open source aerial imagery to support environmental policies, research, and education. Through this work, Christine has developed a strong interest in utilizing drones to assist in environmental conservation efforts and enjoys science communication, having found success using Esri’s Story Maps.
