Trimble is Partnering with ADAPT to Provide you with a Full PT-Concrete Solution

Post-tensioned concrete is a popular option in today’s construction market.  More and more we’re seeing mixed-use commercial/residential buildings, parking garages, and other structure types with PT-slabs.  These buildings can be tedious and time-consuming for the structural engineer.  Current work flows typically require several models from the BIM model to a gravity and lateral design model to the floor slab model.  PT floor slabs are breaking the budget; usually requiring individual floor models, manual loading inputs and complex design considerations.

Trimble has partnered with ADAPT to deliver a streamlined solution.  In one model, Tekla Structural Designer allows you to design steel and concrete for lateral and gravity loads.  With a modern interface and graphical based solution you can obtain your full building design quickly and efficiently.  Through our integrated ADAPT export the model geometry and loading is sent to ADAPT for the post-tensioned design.

Check out the video below Introducing the integration between Tekla Structural Designer and ADAPT-Floor Pro.
