Infrastructure Australia Unveils Priority List

Australia’s national infrastructure body on Monday unveiled an 86 billion Australian dollar project priority list ranging from railroads to ports and urged lawmakers to overhaul the financing and planning of major public works programs. Creaking infrastructure has long been a complaint of heavy industry in Australia, whose executives frequently cite bottlenecks and delays at ports, roads and on railways across the country as a brake on productivity.
