POWER Engineers Announces Growing Number of Professionals in the Geospatial/Asset Management Solutions Business Unit

HAILEY, Idaho — What is an engineering firm to do when clients have growing needs for GIS, asset management and other sophisticated technology solutions? Hire more experts, of course.

POWER Engineers Incorporated (POWER) announces the addition of four industry experts to its Geospatial and Asset Management Business Unit. Kevin Miller, Jim Plummer, Elisa Peters and Bill Harvey have joined our growing team and are applying their extensive expertise to client projects across the country.

Kevin Miller joins POWER as a strategic consultant with over 30 years of industry expertise and brings his understanding of the critical business, asset, and engineering systems that support thousands of users at electric utilities. With 30 years of technology management experience, Jim Plummer has a valuable perspective on client needs, which he applies to large-scale GIS implementations for utilities. Elisa Peters has two decades of experience and comes to POWER with a highly valued set of best practices for developing the right GIS or asset management solution to fit a client’s needs. Bill Harvey (GISP) is a software architect, developer and analyst with over 20 years of experience in different environments, software platforms, programming languages, spatial analysis and utility integrations including MultiSpeak.

“These additions to our team will help us to continue providing our clients with elegant solutions to today’s complex technology challenges,” said Chris Erpelding, POWER Department Manager. “POWER is building a strong reputation for our client-specific solutions that leverage Esri’s Science of Where™.”
