Agribotix and senseFly Jump-start 2018 Precision Ag Programs with New Promotion

Boulder, Colorado – Agribotix, a leader in drone-enabled agricultural intelligence, and senseFly, the leading provider of professional drone solutions, today announced their Gateway to Precision Ag promotion for North America.

Designed to help growers and retailers get ahead of the 2018 growing season, the promotion offers a discount on a package of tools that enables professionals to begin working with drones now.

“Precision programs are significantly more effective when they introduce new tools in-season, during slower periods,” explained Agribotix Founder and CTO, Dr. Tom McKinnon. “This allows professionals to work the tools into their operations efficiently, and gain insights for the following year.”

The Gateway to Precision Ag package includes the senseFly eBee SQ agricultural drone, the Parrot Sequoia multispectral camera, and a four-month professional-level subscription to FarmLens, Agribotix’s award-winning agricultural software platform. With a saving of more than ten percent, the package is available for the discounted price of USD $9,490*.

“Our aim was to bring together everything necessary to start producing meaningful agricultural reports,” said Troy Hittle, senseFly Sales Manager, North America. “Working with Agribotix, we’re able to support those professionals who want to get started with drones this season, allowing them to experience the technology over established crops and be well positioned for 2018.”

The eBee SQ is the ideal drone for precision agriculture due to its ease of use and the powerful images and crop data it provides through the Sequoia camera, which captures regular visual images along with four agricultural-specific bands.

The drone also features a Sunshine Sensor to account for light variability and, when paired with FarmLens, will produce calibrated images, allowing for much more powerful comparison of fields both over time and against other fields. FarmLens enables results to be viewed online, shared via e-mail, or distributed in a printed report that can include in-field images and specific recommendations.

“Reports from FarmLens deliver value regardless of the level or type of technology growers have or have not adopted,” Hittle added.

The Gateway to Precision Ag promotion is available now until September 15, 2017. For more information, contact Agribotix at 720-295-3625 or [email protected].
