HawkEye 360 Names the Honorable Arthur L. Money to Its Board of Directors

BOSTON – HawkEye 360, Inc., a technology company that is developing new solutions in space-based radio frequency survey, today announced that the Honorable Arthur L. Money, the former Assistant Secretary of Defense for Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence (ASD (C3I)), has been appointed to the Board of Directors.

“Art brings extensive leadership experience to the HawkEye 360 Board,” said John Serafini, Chief Executive Officer of HawkEye 360. “His achievements in both the public and private sector will significantly enhance our already strong ability to bring new geospatial solutions based on radio frequency survey to the commercial and government markets.”

The Honorable Arthur L. Money has served as the Senior Civilian Official, Office of the ASD (C3I); Department of Defense Chief Information Officer; Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Research, Development and Acquisition; and Chief Information Officer for the Air Force. He has received distinguished public service awards from the U.S. Department of Defense (Bronze Palm), the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Navy. After leaving government service, Money worked with a variety of companies developing technology in signal and information processing, including applications that support military and intelligence needs.

“By bringing the power of radio frequency survey to geospatial solutions, HawkEye 360 can provide customers with a new level of needed information to make critical decisions,” said Money. “I’m eager to draw on my experience in data analysis and transformative information from both the military and private sector perspectives to help HawkEye 360 develop technical strategies as the company continues to expand.”

HawkEye 360 also named Jill Smith, President and CEO of Allied Minds, to its board. Smith brings more than 25 years of experience as an international business leader, including 16 years as CEO of private and public companies in the technology and information services markets. Before joining Allied Minds, she served as Chairman, CEO and President of DigitalGlobe Inc., a global provider of satellite imagery products and services.

“HawkEye 360 is developing exciting technologies that will provide deeper insights into our world and deliver new capabilities for decision makers who depend on geospatial information,” said Smith. “HawkEye is poised to build on the small satellite revolution to bring to market an entirely new level of innovation in radio frequency survey and geospatial applications.”
