Chinese Navigation System BeiDou Makes Significant Progress in GPS Navigation

China: Engineers working on Chinese satellite navigation system, BeiDou, have announced that the system has made significant progress in terms of its accuracy. At a press conference, the BeiDou engineers confirmed that the satellites can pin users down to one or two metres with the help of a new chip. Prior to this, BeiDou could only get someone’s position accurate to 10 metres. Read More at Geospatial World
