New Browsing and Search Tools
Blaze Terra 4.0 allows customers to browse and filter all geospatial data by location, file type, data creation date or any custom file attribute. Blaze Terra 4.0 also allows customers to connect to predefined web layers such as Bing Maps, OSM and NASA as well as geospatial services and databases such as WMS, WFS, Oracle and more.
New Sharing Tools – Publisher Extension
Blaze users can now share their projects with others through live demonstrations, in the form of video recordings or 3D Geospatial Layered PDF. Customers can create and share virtual tours, define flight paths and benefit from a variety of animation settings including duration, tilt, zoom, rotation, and transitions between viewpoints. Scenes can be published to 3D Geospatial Layered PDF documents, which are viewable simply with Adobe Reader. The 3D Geospatial Layered PDF maintains the project’s original layer structure, ranging from raster and vector to DTM, extruded shape files, 3D textured models and pre-defined viewpoints.
“We believe that Blaze Terra 4.0 is another step towards delivering the ultimate geo-experience,” says Yoav Zobel, VP Software Development. “The new features integrate seamlessly with existing Blaze Terra capabilities, such as on-the-fly re-projection or image-draping on top of elevation models and will add to Blaze Terra’s intuitive, high-performance and high-speed nature.”
