New con terra Portal Supports map.apps Developer Community

The aim of the map.apps developer network is to promote the exchange of information between manufacturer, partners, users, and – above all – developers. One of the first aims of the site will therefore be to supply anyone creating apps using map.apps or running solutions of their own based on map.apps with optimum comprehensive information. The website publishes news relating to all aspects of map.apps and provides links to successfully implemented solutions. The main added value, however, lies in the services available to registered users in the protected area. This part of the site contains access to developer documentation, FAQs and How To’s, and also has a download area containing pre-configured app templates (relating to such themes as responsive web design or using OGC services) among other items.

All areas of the map.apps developer network are subjected to ongoing expansion. In the next development phases, more emphasis will be placed on the aspects of communication and exchange between the members of the map.apps community, with relevant tools provided to support these activities.

The map.apps developer network can be accessed at http://developernetwork.conterra.de. Those interested in full access to all of the site’s content can apply for a free personal account using the special contact form provided on the site.
