Leica Geosystems Adds Machine Control Portfolio iCONtrol to its iCON Solution Family

iCONtrol provides flexible solutions for the Grading and Excavating segment that uses the iCONstruct sensor portfolio released in early 2012. It is an intelligent and flexible control system for construction machinery allowing a streamlined workflow and data handling.

Both iCON excavate and iCON grade provide specific panels for use in 2D and 3D applications.  Upgradability is sustained via the sophisticated PowerSnap panel concept with identical configuration. The 3D panel allows to use one panel only regardless of a 2D or 3D application.

Leica iCON excavate – Custom-built Solutions for Excavating
Leica iCON excavate is part of the new Machine Control portfolio iCONtrol focusing on the engineering and infrastructure segment. It is a flexible portfolio that can be customized for all excavating applications, such as building pits, trenches, and dams, allowing a seamless integration into the recent introduced iCONstruct portfolio. With Leica iCON excavate contractors dig accurately and generate a fast return on investment by saving material and fuel costs.

Leica iCON grade – Custom-built Solutions for Grading
Leica iCON grade is also part of the new iCONtrol portfolio focusing on grading applications. In addition, the unique Leica SP Technology is offered to the dozer solution that works with GPS and/or total station to provide smooth surfaces at higher speeds for high productivity.

Leica Geosystems will further expand the iCON solutions to specific construction trade segments in the near future.

The new iCONtrol solution portfolio is immediately available. Ordering information is available from authorized Leica Geosystems representatives.
