GRIDA, Inc. and OpenGeo Come Together to Bring Geospatial Software to Korea

GRIDA, Inc., the leading provider in the Korean geospatial software market, and OpenGeo, producer of the OpenGeo Suite, have announced an agreement that will bring the OpenGeo Suite to Korea. GRIDA is known for providing geospatial software and solutions to users in the Korean market. This relationship allows GRIDA to expand its capabilities and offer clients solutions based on the OpenGeo Suite, a fully integrated open source geospatial platform.

GRIDA, the most recent member of OpenGeo’s rapidly expanding global partner network, will assume local responsibilities for first line support of the OpenGeo Suite. Upon making the announcement, Sanghee Shin, C.E.O. of GRIDA, Inc., said “It’s a great opportunity to be working so closely with OpenGeo. We’ve expanded our business portfolio and prospects in Korea as a result of this partnership. We believe that we add more value to our customers by working together than by standing alone.”

Chris Holmes, OpenGeo President, added: “We are truly excited to enhance our presence in the Korean market with a strong partner as GRIDA. Partnerships with respected providers allow us to immediately add local expertise and skilled support for OpenGeo Suite users throughout one of the world’s fastest growing geospatial markets.”
