Using Stylus with Leica Zeno 10

Leica Zeno GIS provides the simplest dataflow between the field and office. It simultaneously checks in features and GNSS raw data, automatically post-processes GNSS observations and updates feature vertices to the most accurate location in one easy, automated step. Together with Zeno Office, users can easily manage feature quality over time and benefit from automated import and export functions to a wide range of different formats.

Leica Zeno Field v3.0
Different transformations methods, as well as Geoids and Country Specific Coordinate Systems (CSCS), are now supported. “With the support of Geoid and CSCS files in Zeno Field, Leica Geosystems further strengthens its leading position in high-accuracy GNSS/GIS applications “, says Johannes Hotz, Senior Product Manager for the Leica Zeno GIS series.

In addition, with the new CGR10 & 15 radio caps for the Leica Zeno CS10/15 GIS handhelds, Zeno Field supports both GSM/GPRS and UHF communications to GNSS Reference Stations. Both radio modems are an ideal extension to the Leica Zeno GG02 plus SmartAntenna and mounted directly onto Zeno CS10/15 GIS field controllers, they deliver outstanding ergonomics and integrate seamlessly with the existing Zeno GIS series.

zeno2New features additionally include
the support of the Leica Digicat 550i and 650i cable locators to easily locate and map underground services
optional 5Hz support of the Leica GG02 plus
12 different languages are now supported in Zeno Field

Leica Zeno Office v3.0
Leica Zeno Office is a software package to maintain, manage and post-process GIS, GNSS and surveying data. Leica Zeno Office v3.0 now supports Esri ArcGIS 10.

New features include
the software based on ArcGIS 10 SP4
support of file based geodatabase
relevant GNSS sensor information – such as sensor type, serial number, firmware version, and manufacturer – being stored with every GNSS observation.

Both Leica Zeno Field and Zeno Office also feature numerous other improvements and optimizations.

Leica Zeno Connect v1.2
Leica Zeno Connect is an application as well as an SDK for 3rd party software applications to manage and configure the Zeno GNSS sensors and receive NMEA messages. It also supports the new features.

New features also include
the messages GST (2D + 1D quality), VTG (course over ground and ground speed)
the definition of the elevation mask (also available in the SDK)
a new auto-connect RTK function
