Taipei Mayor Visits Singapore to Study Urban Rejuvenation

Taipei has much to learn from Singapore’s experience in river cleanup and restoration of historical and cultural relics, the mayor of Taiwan’s capital city said in Singapore Wednesday. Taipei Mayor Hau Lung-bin, who arrived in Singapore Tuesday evening after a visit to Hong Kong, made the remarks after a call on the Southeast Asian city state’s Urban Redevelopment Authority, a tour of Clarke Quay and a cruise on the Singapore River.
