Shanghai remains China’s most sustainable region of development, according to the 2013 China Sustainable Development Report issued on Monday. Issued by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), the report also cites the municipalities of Beijing and Tianjin, as well as the provinces of Jiangsu, Jilin, Zhejiang, Liaoning, Hainan, Guangdong and Fujian, as being highly sustainable.
