The area of geographic information systems (GIS) is expanding exponentially with the development in allied fields such as remote sensing and IT, enabling creation of new tools for rigorous scientific analysis. Keeping this in mind, NIIT University (NU) is conducting a research on geographic information systems (GIS) to understand and analyse issues in the local landscape.
