How Will Bangalore Look in 2035?

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has decided to take the help of a branch of Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) to prepare a masterplan to develop the city by the year 2035. BDA town planner member BM Tirakanagoudar said they were preparing Revised Masterplan (RMP) 2035 for the city. For the purpose, he said, they have approached National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC)—a Hyderabad-based branch of Isro—to provide images of the city to help prepare the masterplan. The images received from the NRSC will be given to the agency that qualifies in the tender. Read More
