Sri Lanka has taken a gigantic step forward with infrastructure investments. Three international harbours have been built, and three other harbours are being upgraded to international standards. The first stage of the Colombo – Matara Expressway (up to Galle) will be completed in July 2011 and the total project will be ready by 2012 (up to Matara).
